Each Youth is on a special individualized Program Path and our goal is to provide the tools to help the Youth become successful and Step Down to their designated goal.
The primary goal is to step down the child/non minor dependent to a loving, resourced and supportive home based setting. This is accomplished through the reduction or elimination of the symptoms that led to their placement into a facility home by targeted case management.
Every Saturday, we mobilize our teams of volunteers to make a real difference at All Seated in a Barn. The Barn is an animal rescue that includes rescuing horses and donkeys from feed lots, providing them with medical attention, and most importantly, finding them loving homes that they deserve. Our Youth attend each Saturday and help clean the animal pens, brush and exercise the animals and most importantly, give the animals love.
Bike Bakersfield is another place in the community where our Youth have the opportunity to volunteer and make a difference. At Bike Bakersfield, Youth have the opportunity to help sort out collected bicycle parts and with time they get to build their own under guidance and supervision.
Our community is full of resources that will help our Youth achieve success during and after they leave our program.
